ABOUT
ORiGiN™ IMPRiNT is an independent Australian publisher specialising in the autobiographies and biographies of prominent music industry personalities, as well as other books in the show business genre.
ORiGiN™ IMPRiNT began as a division of the ORiGiN™ Music Group, which is predominantly focused on publishing music, lyrics and scripts for musicals and plays, and managing Australasian performance rights for acclaimed composers such as Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rodgers and Hammerstein and many, many more.
The book division was officially hived off and renamed IMPRiNT INPRiNT in October 2021, after several years of publishing a selection of music titles and other manuscripts, including fiction, biography, and poetry.
The first title to be published under IMPRiNT INPRiNT was SMOKY DAWSON – A LIFE, released in January 2022. This is a landmark 368-page coffee table publication honouring the memory of one of the most extraordinary, versatile and influential entertainers of the 20th Century – a beloved pioneer of the country music industry and a man whose amazing talents traversed the whole spectrum of entertainment: from old-time Outback tent shows to modern-day recording studios, on radio and television, in Australia and America, a songwriter and a poet, and an inspiration to a nation.
As the ORiGiN™ Music Group has evolved and grown we are now delighted to bring the book publishing imprint back into the fold of ORiGiN™ family and with this the decision to revert back to our original imprint ORiGiN™ IMPRiNT.
